Operations Analyst

The Operations Analyst in an entry level role responsible for maintaining portfolio accounting systems and back office processes for multiple financial advisory clients, supporting GeoWealth’s web-based applications, and maintaining positive and professional relationships with clients. Due to rapid growth at GeoWealth, the job description of the Operations Analyst is constantly evolving. Success in the department will be based on an employee’s ambition, flexibility, initiative, and willingness to learn. A positive, hard-working attitude is a must for the position.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • College Degree (Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics degree preferred) .
  • Experience in a financial services a plus (internship or 1-2 years of experience).
  • Communication Skills – Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Technology – Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Proficiency in Excel strongly preferred. Experience with a portfolio accounting system and related data flows is a plus.
  • Extreme attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work product.
  • Client Service Orientation – Commitment to provide an exceptional client service experience to our Financial Advisors.
  • Organizational Skills – Exemplary problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Responsibility and Initiative – Ability to work independently in an efficient and responsible manner.
  • Self-starter – Desire to gain more knowledge through experience in a fast paced environment.
  • Teamwork – Experience working with others in a team environment.
