Due to the expansion of our team we are looking for a Senior System Administrator.

The position is also appropriate for an experienced person who is willing to continue further his professional development into DevOps with technologies like Ansible and Terraform.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, install and configure internal and production servers, network devices and firewalls.
Proactively manage and maintain server, network and firewall systems
Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans.
Very good scripting skills
Hands on experience with Linux Servers
Identify the need for updates and upgrades and implement them to the infrastructure.
Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment.
Ensure that new applications are integrated and deployed across the business efficiently and seamlessly.
Ensure technical documentation is up-to-date and stored in an organized manner for future reference.
Ability to join a 24×7 on-call roster on occasion or to work off-routine hours on occasion.
Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
Providing regular trainings on compliance security in the company
Assist with hardware, firewall, telecom and software vendor evaluation, recommendation and negotiations Mentor / cross train team members on existing and new technologies.
Carry out special tasks at Management’s direction.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

Experience with JavaScript, React with Redux
5+ years of work experience as a Systems Administrator (working independently without or less any supervision)
Deep knowledge of Nginx, Apache, Tomcat, Java applications, Security and Firewall, Mailx, ELK stack, Prometheus and Graphana, Log monitoring.
Good understanding of system security and different techniques
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to break down problems from the root cause.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with users of all levels and explain complex technical information into simple and understandable terms.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze large volumes of data and identify trends and patterns.
