MARCH 2024

This Month’s New Features & Platform Updates from GeoWealth

3 Release Notes

Key March Enhancements

NEWFixed Income Specialty Asset Reports

Detail: Fixed Income holdings have unique attributes such as coupon rates and maturity dates. To date, no reports have focused on Fixed Income holdings and these unique attributes.

Improvement: New report options are now available: Specialty Asset Holdings Report and Specialty Asset Position Performance Report. These options report specifically on Fixed Income holdings, providing information such as Time to Maturity, Yield and Coupon.

TIP: This new feature is only available in the new Reporting Center. If you have questions about accessing or using the new Reporting Center, reach out to your designated Strategic Consultant.

NEWModel Center ‘Favorites’

Detail: The GeoWealth Model Center has grown to approximately 600 models across 80 asset managers. Users need the ability to easily identify models within the vast marketplace.

Improvement: Users can now easily set and prioritize their preferred model options with the ability to save and sort ‘Favorite’ models in the Model Center. ‘Favorites’ is just one part of our ongoing commitment to assist users in navigating an expanding range of available models.

Reporting Center

Enhanced Logic for Reporting Period Gaps

Detail: If a position or asset class was held for two separate time periods with a gap between the reporting periods, the information had been displayed only once, impacting the performance for the position or asset class.

Improvement: Reports have been updated to show separate data points for each of the reporting period, making it clear the position or asset class was temporarily divested during the reporting period. A position or asset class is reported in a separate row for each continuous period of ownership within the reporting period(s).

TIP: This new feature is only available in the new Reporting Center. If you have questions about accessing or using the new Reporting Center, reach out to your designated Strategic Consultant.

Option to Remove Entity Groups in Reports

Detail: The Holdings Report and Transactions Report both required a “Group Entities By” option to be selected. When running the reports for an advisor and outputting to Excel, the results were presented in the chosen groupings, with a header for each group.

Improvement: You now have the option to select None for the “Group Entities By” option in the Holdings and Transactions reports. This will provide all the information in Excel without a header for each group. The default selection will remain to group by Household.

TIP: This new feature is only available in the new Reporting Center. If you have questions about accessing or using the new Reporting Center, reach out to your designated Strategic Consultant.

GeoWealth Reference Removed from Excel Output Reports

Detail: Several of the new Reporting Center Excel output reports included a row at the end of the document that read, “Report powered by GeoWealth.”

Improvement: The reference to GeoWealth has been removed.

Service Center

Enhanced Service Center Search Capabilities

Detail: To assist firm-level users on high volume sites, we’ve introduced ‘Advanced Search’ options, making it easier to run narrow and specific search queries.

Improvement: Our ‘Advanced Search’ capability offers additional filtering options for multiple columns of data. This allows for more precise, tailored searches, ensuring users can find the exact data needed without sifting through irrelevant search results.

Faster Loading Times for Service Center Searches

Detail: When generating Service Center Trading Request queries that may yield a large number of results, some users have encountered long loading periods causing a suboptimal user experience.

Improvement: We’ve optimized our data grids to generate faster, reducing load times and improving overall performance. The screen will be pre-filtered by the timeframe ‘Today’ and will exclude the Status ‘Canceled.’

Billing

Display Details of Inherited Billing Specifications

Detail: Billing Settings such as fee specifications, full exclusions, or adjustments may be ‘inherited’ from a client, household, or firm, and applied to individual accounts. When viewing or editing the account level Billing Settings, there was no detail to display the ‘inherited’ billing settings to show the rate applicable to the account.

Improvement: The Billing Settings view now indicates when a setting has been inherited and from what level (client, household, or firm). In addition, the Billing Settings view tab now has a ‘View Details’ button that presents the full scope of the Billing Settings for an account, making it easy for a user to identify detail for all levels of Billing Settings.
