We know every RIA is unique, but there are some general commonalities in what independent RIAs require to transition their assets and clients to GeoWealth. Below we outline the high-level process for getting started with GeoWealth when moving from another TAMP. We’re happy to consult with you on your specific situation and how to design the right transition process for your firm.

Kick Off & Site BuildPHASE ISTART HERE!

The first step of a transition is a kick off call covering final discovery, where we collaboratively approach any special considerations that need to be managed.

After that, we build your white-labeled platform site in your brand style, including logo and color palette applied to the portals and proposal and reporting document templates.

Custodial Connectivity & Model BuildsPHASE IIUNDER CONSTRUCTION

We’re now ready to establish data feeds and trading authorization with your custodian. The required paperwork, process, and timeline may vary based on your custodian.

Next, we build out your model allocations and historical model performance on the GeoWealth platform. We’ll also train your team on trading processes and how to communicate model updates.

Billing & Data MappingPHASE IIIMOVING ALONG

You’ll recieve templates to (i) establish your firm’s billing methologies, (ii) build out the households for your clients, and (iii) provide historical performance intervals.

After that, we can execute the model mapping process, ensure all accounts are invested into their respective models via New Account Service Requests or through a Bulk Conversion and Rebalance.

Training & AdoptionPHASE IVyou're live!

You’re ready to start using the platform! GeoWealth’s Strategic Consultants will host trainings via Zoom or in person, plus we’ll provide customized training videos and platform guides for your advisors and admins. We’ll then help you deliver platform credentials to all of your stakeholders.

Once you’ve established your ‘go live date,’ we’ll turn on trading and you’ll be officially operational. From there, you’ll have access to our Advisor Services Team for day-to-day support.
